Pre-School

At Pre-School, our children feel safe and secure. We offer a stimulating and enriching curriculum that inspires all children. Our curriculum is designed to encourage children to foster a positive attitude towards learning, building strong foundations for their future.

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage and at the core of this is a drive for our children to be happy, confident and full of awe and wonder for the world around them. Through focussing on social development, we ensure that our children are ready to learn.

Our pre-school staff are highly trained to adapt to meet the needs of each individual at our setting, making the time and effort to be face to face with the children, maximising every learning opportunity.

As an inclusive, caring school where every child matters, we recognise that all children have talents and abilities to celebrate, and a part of our role is to help them discover and develop these. We encourage a strong community spirit, where we show consideration and respect for each other; understand differences, and uphold kind, well-mannered behaviour.

Every child deserves to be successful, which can be achieved through our nurturing environment.

We recognise parents are children’s first and main educators. As such, we value parental support to extend and deepen their experiences. We actively work with parents to ensure their child gets the best start in their education, making ourselves available to offer support and advice.

  • Children aged between 2 and 5 can attend
  • We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • We are registered with and have been favourably inspected by Ofsted as good overall with ‘The contribution of the early year’s provision to the well-being of children’ being judged as outstanding. Visit the school website to view the full report or ask for a copy in school.
